Hi All,

I am new to Solman and trying to understand how TMS is working in Charm. Can you please help to clarify the case of failed testing and new transport in the same Urgent Change (ZMHF)?

If errors occurred during testing, the tester returns the change document to the developer, by choosingStart of the navigation path ActionNext navigation stepReset Status to In DevelopmentEnd of the navigation path, so that the urgent change can be corrected in a new transport request.

Once new transport is ready, developer will pass Urgent change to test again by choosing “Pass Urgent Change To Test”. And what does happen with an old transport (the 1st one that moved earlier before testing failed)? Does Action skip already imported transport? Or does it import it again?

Hi Harish,

so Action skips already imported transport. Does it happen the same way when we want to change the state of ZMHF from "Authorized to Prod" to "Imported to Prod" having a transport in our CD that is already in prod (let's say was imported there manually"? Does action SMHF_PRODUCTIVE skip it's import to prod( since it's already there) and just update the status of Urgent Document?

Many thanks for your help!

Yes Olga,

It moves only the TR which is linked to your Urgent change.

You can test this scenario in your QA system (Check the import history so that you can find out the sequence and timings).
