Hi All,

For one of my infocubes, In the update rules Calendar Year/Week mapped with calander day.

I am executing the reports for current cal week. So report is diplaying data by considering Saturday and Sunday as weekends.

But in my case Thursday and Friday should be considers as weekends.

So where I can make the setup ?

Thanks,

Hi Kavitha,

Fiscal Year calender in BW is populated from R/3. Different variants are maintained in R/3 for fiscal period using the tcode OB29 INCLUDING your week variant.

You may be required to define different variant for reporting in Bw, or you can think of creating additional info object for calender week, and maintain the start date and end date attributes manually.

Shakeel.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

My infocube is technical content infocube 0TCT_CA1. So data is being loaded from Myself system . No selections has been given to choose proper variants at infopackage level.

Hi kavitha J,

go for SPRO, implementation guide,

1. netWeaver - general setting and go to maintain calendar.

2. select the factory calendar, go for modification mode , select your country and check the options for days as weekend.

try this first in some test system.

Hi Shakeel,

As don't have SPRO autherisation mean while trying to look for another solution.

As you mentioned one more solution i.e need to create Z- info object for reporting perpose and date from and date to needs to be declared.

Can you explain that more in detail.

How to assign the value to datefrom and date to objects manually ?

Thanks,

Hi Kavitha J,

Here in our company, we are maintaining separate info object called ZIOI_AM02 ( Weekly Period ).

Attributes are as follows which are maintained manually during MonthEnd:

week Period |start date | end date | Month Period | week text |

014.2010 01.04.2010 07.04.2010 004.2010 Week 14

015.2010 08.04.2010 14.04.2010 004.2010 Week 15

016.2010 15.04.2010 21.04.2010 004.2010 Week 16

017.2010 22.04.2010 28.04.2010 004.2010 Week 17

You will read the calendar day while populating through transformation in routine, if the cal day lies between start date and end date, then that week is considered as reporting week.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Shakeel.
