CSU Chico (UA)- BI Integrated Planning doubt (Customizing sales org. plan)

Hello Everyone, I am Akshay Thussu and I am currently pursuing my MBA in Management Information Systems at California State University, Chico.

I am currently working on a research project and since yesterday I have been facing a problem with BEx Analyzer.

To-do:

Develop a cockpit for sales organization planners.

Achieved:

On a new worksheet I have added a message area and two analysis grids associated respectively with the yearly and monthly queries which I have created on BW (Server- Belfast)

Saved the workbook.

Created a text box that displays the filter value (US1) using the yearly query as the data provider, added a drop down for free chars (Distr Channel and Material group) with the yearly query as the data provider and both the yearly and monthly queries as the Affected data providers.

Saved the workbook and viewed the results. Input cells for manual entry are white versus light blue, indicating they are input-ready.

ERROR (Issue):

Now I entered the design mode and tried to add a button for transferring changed input values to the BI Server, choosing a planning specific command, transferring values, and accepting the default properties.

I could not even add the button on the sheet and the error message was: "Could not access MS Visual Basic Project."

Also there is this infrequent message which keeps popping up stating that my worksheet was compressed and could not be opened. But it opens up right after I click OK on the message window.

I am awaiting some of the most informative responses. Please acknowledge!

Thanks and Regards,

Akshay Thussu
