‘SAML2 service not accessible’ - odata service

Dear all,

I want to implement a FIORI app which is delivered by SAP. In our DEV system I don’t run into problems, everything works fine.

But in our QA system when I want to test the service in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE then I get a message ‘SAML2 service not accessible’, see attachments.

Does anybody know what is the issue here?

Backend: SAP_BASIS 740, SAP_GWFND740, SAP_UI 740, ECC6.0 EHP7.

Frontend: SAP_BASIS 750, SAP_GWFND 750, SAP_UI 751.

hi Gerd,

You get this error because you access a protected resource using one host name, but identity provider is returning the SAML 2.0 response to a different host name.

Ask your basis team regarding the SAML2.0 configuration providing them the host name through which your request is being passed. They should be easily able to fix the configuration.
