reg default storage location in UD

Dear all,

While doing usage decision for all the materials system is proposing FG01 by default but I do not want this insted we should get SF01 , I have checked in material master in work scheduling we have given as SF01 but still we are getting FG01 by default where can we do the setting.

Please advice

Hi,

The default value comes from GR document, i.e. if the GR is done in FG01, the default value comes in the inspection lot as FG01.

Hi,

At the time of GRN wahtever storage location you put that storage location bydefault come in UD stock posting screen.So better during GRN it self yo uput your required storasge location.

Dear Venkat,

This display of storage location at UD is the result of what you maintain while doing GR.

Following is the solution :

1) If you are sure it is to be posted to FG01, you can change this while stock posting .

2) If this material is SFG, then ask your stores person to assign SF01 while doing GR.

Even if in material master you have maintained SF01 and your stores person is assigning FG01 at GR so there is problem.
