Experts,
Was wondering incase anyone has worked on SAP DMS & MOSS(Sharepoint) integration scenarios. How efficient is the operability between the two systems?
No satisfactory searches were yielded on the internet. Case studies, documentation source would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I have a question : Is it possible, via Duet Enterprise, to create DMS documents from SAP in Sharepoint ?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Will you use SAP or Sharepoint for creating/changing documents ?

Hi Pradip,
I have little knowledge which I hope can be helpful to you. The difference between the two products is as follows:
1. SAP DMS documents are stored on content sever and MOSS DMS documents are stored on MS Sharepoint server.
2. MOSS DMS and SAP DMS integration is feasible.
3. MOSS DMS is on asp.net platform whereas SAP DMS abap programe.
4.There is no transaction codes in MOSS DMS.
5. The attribute creation and serach report are more flexible in MOSS DMS.
6. It's more easy to add fields and links in MOSS DMS.
7. Notification,e-mails are easily send thru MOSS DMS.
I hope this stuff will be useful to you. If I got documentation then definately I will send.

Ravindra
