BO4 - ADS_EVENT table blank top_folder_name and object_folder_path

Hi,

We have auditing switched on and using BO 4.2 SP05 and have noticed when using auditing universe and database table ads_event table that the top_folder_name and object_folder_path are both blank for all events.

The folder_id and object_id are both populated but these are GUIDS and looking for the associated meaningful name.

Any reason why these columns would be blank - this is for all events and how can we see the associated folder names for these?

Thanks

Yes, that is correct. I usually also turn on "Property Value Details", which will give you the parameters that were used to run the report.

Unless you are troubleshooting a report, DO NOT turn on "Query" because it will increase the size of your auditing data very quickly and can slow down the save of audit data to the database. When I need to troubleshoot a report, I will turn on Query" long enough to get the SQL from the report I'm working with and then turn it off.

Hi,

Just noticed in CMC/Auditing is a separate checkbox for

audit.jpg

assume just need to select Folder Path Details for thsi to be audited.

Is this the case?

Thanks
