Availability check

Hi Experts,

In COR1even stock is zero for component system shows message that *All checked materials in order are available

Message no. CO289*

How yhis is possible.

Dear,

You execute an availability check for a production order, a process order or a maintenance order. Not all components are available.

Nevertheless, the system issues message CO 289:

"All checked materials in order & are available".

Instead of status MSPT (Material shortage), the system sets status MACM (material committed).?

However, the missing components are displayed in the missing part overview and in the missing part list?

If OPJK and OPJJ check the indicator of RLT remove it and check again.

If setting are ok then go for the SAP note 1043022 for source code corrections

We have applied for SAP note. Once implement note will inform you.

Our BASIS consultant was trying to apply this note ( 1043022 ) ,but system didn't apply this note showing message that SAP note does not carried any valid correction instruction

What to do now? Please reply.

In your checking rule check for Check OPJJ Check without RLT is blank, activate the check box & then do a Availability Check in your order.

I activated check box for RLT in OPJJ even system shoe all material are available as there is zero stock for all component.

Please please suggest any solution.

Dear Raja,

Create a new order & check the result it should work

Also you can check Scope of check settings in order itself in component overview screen

I have checked scope of check in order where system picks same scope of check which is maintained in configuration wherein tich is marked for check without RLT.Even system show all material are available as there is zero stock for all component & not single PO exist.

What to do?

Thanks for your reply.

My problem has solved.

In COR4 there was key 2 From release for Reservatuion/Purc.req which caused me this problem. Now I have select key 3 Immediate due to which my problem got solved.
