Dear experts and Lumira enthusiasts,
I am working on a Lumira report which uses a HANA calculation view. In the HANA view I created input parameters. I have two questions about these.
It seems that for a calculation view, Lumira does not support multi-value input parameters, only the first value is considered. Is this correct?
Secondly, is there any way of showing on the Lumira report which input paramaters are used? I know you can see the parameters in the prepare phase and change them by doing a refresh with reprompt. But for a business user it would be good to see which values are used as parameter, for example a date range. Which is important for reporting.
Thanks for your insights!
For the first question, see page 138 of the SAP Help http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/vi01/en/lum_131_user_en.pdf
For the second question, have you considered trying using dynamic text? https://blogs.sap.com/2015/01/15/adding-dynamic-text-to-sap-lumira-stories/

Hi Tammy, I can not see the content on the link you gave for 1st question, I'm facing similar problem with LUMIRA Discovery, when I read 'Input Parameters' with Multiple selection option, I get filter on first value in Lumira, If I create Input parameter as DIRECT and if I do not mention constant value, Lumira doesn't pop up prompts. I'm using BI Platform http connection. Please advise.
Hi Tammy
I have an open ticket on forum, I missed your attention at the issue, can you please shed some light on this.

Tammy thanks for your answers! 1st question: I understand that a multi value parameter has to have the right setup in HANA. I created a parameter which gives the option for multi value selection. Therefore in Lumira I am able to enter multiple values. However in the report I see only the output of the first entered value. I found this about the same topic from some months ago: Sap discussion.
For the dynamic texts: It is my understanding that you can only use measures as dynamic texts. For example my date parameter is not part of the output of the HANA view. The date parameter goes to a lower level of the view (before aggregation) while the data is aggregated depending on the date range provided by the input parameters.
