Hello Experts,

We have PCo installed in different server. We are able to see OPC DA servers in PCo.

But when we create an agent instance with source system as OPC DA and destination system as SAP MII and start the agent instance we are getting below message.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Emre,

The Agent Instance had a fatal error. You need to examine the Agent Instance Logs to determined why it failed and go from there.

The message 'Cannot configure agent instance...' always appears when you select an agent instance that is not in the Stopped state.

Hi Emre,

Is your OPC DA and PCo in the same server or different?

Hello Arpith,

Actually it's a test file agent. The source system is my local file, the destination is a universal web service.

So no OPC. Now ih ave got a error like "Remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

" When i test the destination. but i already entered my user informations

Best Regards

Hi Emre,

Can you do a connection test in the source system and destination system in PCo and check if it is successful. If connectivity test is not successful then it wont work as expected. Kindly share the details here if it worked or not

Yes it seems so, but it was stopped before creating destination.

Hi Mike,

We did stop the instance before creating the destination.

From your screen shot, it would appear that it was still running while you were trying to make the changes.

Did you stop the instance initially created before creating the destination?
