Hi all,
Please help me to understand the difference between SAP ES RETAIL and SAP IS RETAIL.
Thanks!
Good day, Andras!
Thanks for your clarification.
It's not ES Retail, but it's EA Retail to be more specific.
We've IS Retail for Industry Specific which encompass all the retail specific scenarios.
But in SAP EA Retail, I've found a lot of transactions that too ECC/R3 specific, not atleast neither the article hierarchy nor an MC hierarchy related stuffs.
Appreciate inputs on the difference!
Thanks,
Sri

Hi Sritharan,
Where did you read about ES Retail?
I think that ES Retail should mean Enterprise Service for Retail (this is a functionality), while IS Retail means Industry Specific Retail (this is the official name of the solution itself; at SAP there are some further Industry Specific solutions as well, like IS Oil, IS Media, etc.)
I hope this is what you meant.
Best regards,
Andras Strobl
