Number range error

Hi All,

Number Range problem.

I have defined Number Range Internal for Positions as 20000000-29999999 and Org Unit as 10000000-19999999.

The Positions number were generated correctly but now suddenly the Position number generated is 10000001.

The Plan Version is same and no other changes in number range has been done.

Please advise how to solve it.

Regards,

Saureb

Solved- From SAP Labs

User had used PP01 and created the Position No 10000001 which was not defined in OONR.

00000000-19999999 needs to be defined as internal and not activated in Numkr.

Buffer needs to be replaced from default 25 to blank in SNRO and object RP_PLAN.

For deleting upnecessary entries use report

RHDEL_PD_TABLES.If some entries are still there in PA tables use report RHDEL_INTE10.(and Parameter maintain make it X).

Go to your t-code OONR

select your subgroup i.e Plan version and object type

suppose your planversion is 01 and for position object type is S so subgroup is 01S

click on status and check what is the value for Current number for internal IN assignment.

change it to the last position ID that you created and try creating the position again through PO13.

hope this helps

Hi,

I have checked that also, the status is correct and showing the next number of the last number generated. I cannot create a Position to test as this problem is coming in Production.

HI,

For generating Internal Number ranges in OM, you need to make changes to a User Exit.

Please search the forum for the same.
