TCP IP error during HADR Setup

Hello,

We are setting up HADR for DB2. This is for our Production System(which

is up and running). We have a separate DR Server wherein we are

creating the Standby Database.

I am doing it through Control Centre GUI and after giving all the

details,

In the step of "Updating Services file" we are getting the below error,

CCA3051N A "TCPIP" protocol interface failure has occurred with Return

code "0xb".

Explanation:

The failure occurred while attempting to access the protocol

interface.

User Response:

Verify that the protocol is operational.

I guess this error is not pointing to the real issue.

Please help!
