copying a query

Hi all,

I have a query, Now i would like to copy the query to create another query.

so that i dont need to build from begining.

any inputs would be helpfull.

Open the query in Query Designer. In the Menu bar which is on top of the Query Designer, there will be a button Save Query As.

Just click on this and save a query with a different name. Now you can make the required changes to the new query.

Also for copying a query you can use the transacation RSZC.

Hi,

In the query designer, there is an option 'Save Query as'. This will allow you to save your original query with a new name. You can then use the new query to make further changes.

Hi,

There are two ways of copying the query.

1. Transaction RZ10, you can copy the query if its on same info provider or

2. Open you report, under file menu or there is a icon with disk+ which says SAVE AS. Click on that and give some name and start working on it.
