When I creata a new report (or open a current report) and try to create a new ODBC connection (or a current one in the old report) I get error:
I select Data source, click Next, add the password (to the OracleXE database) and click Finish.
The error is: Crystal Reports has stopped working.
CR is then closed.
I have CR 2008, SP2 (12.2.0.290)
The DataDirect drivers where installed from the Download directory (tried to install then in System32, but got error messages). So I ran the setup following the instructions on the screen, and saw the drivers where installed under windows\sysWOW64\
I use CR Oracle ODBC Driver 5.3
I have Oracle 10G CLient connecting to the ORacle XE
I have defined a System DSN, which tested successfully. Also tried a User DSN.
Windows 7 home premium, 64 bit
Any help deeply appreciated,
