DTP CREATION ERROR : RESOURCE DTPA XXX COULDN'T BE SUCCESSFULLY CREATED

Hello,

BW/4HANA 1.0 system recently upgraded from from SPS05 to SPS10 and using SAP HANA Studio Version: 2.3.41 with bw modelling tools 1.19.30

While creating the dtp i ma getting below error message.

Data flow is : Infoobject attr --> Infosource --> ADSO

Pleases advice what could be an issue.

Deleted the transformation and recreated and later i was able to create DTP with out an issue.

This can also be caused if your DTP passes thru two transformations... for example ADSO -> Infosource -> ADSO. In this scenario, both transformations need to be the same processing type: HANA or ABAP. If you have a mixture of the two, you'll get the same error message.

That may be the reason but after deleting and creating transformations it worked well.

BW4HANA SP6
I had the same issue and found out that the DTP could not be created because it is over a mixed DataFlow.
Both Transformations need to be the same runtime type (ABAP or HANA) and the DTP will create successfully.

I have also faced the same issue in BW4HANA SP8, however it was resolved when I re-activate the corresponding transformation (even though it is showing as active).

Hi Prakash,

there's one note 2688571 available which deals with this kind of issue. Unfortunately this note is not yet available in english. The changes are part of BW/4HANA SP11, so it's likely that they're not yet available in your system. Please implement the note and check whether it helps.
