Download web dynpro developments to local disk

Hello to all,

first of all I want to congratulate all people that make this forums possible because it helps a lot of people (me included) when a problem appears.

Well, I'm going to get right to the point, is there any possibilty to download the developments made using web dynpros to the local pc, I have been trying to download them using the table "TADIR" and the object type "WDYN" using a z development and it created files but they were empty.

I wait for the response.

Check out SAPlink. That is exactly what it was created for and there is a plug-in for Web Dynpro.

I guess in webdynpro there is no such option to download total component from GUI level..

but which is possible in HCM form and process.

Hi,

We can download a WD component into a nuggest file and upload this nugget file to another system. We can do this by SAP Link.Check SAP Link in your server or download this from the path as Thomas suggested.

There is nothing provided by SAP for downloading of WD. Normal SAP Functionality expects you to use transports to move the code. However downloading to your PC is exactly what the open source SAPLink project was designed to do.
