Inconsistencies between livecache & SCM DB & ECC

Hi,

Our Basis people recently moved the SCM database for our regression testing system (as they told me) and now there are inconsistencies between ERP/Livecache/SCM DB. I have run OM17 and this says that livecache is consistent with the DB. Then I ran /sapapo/cif_deltareport3 and there are a lot of inconsistencies between ECC & SCM, e.g. many missing manufacturing orders in APO. However, when I try to rectify these, by sending to APO, I get the error "order key already exists in livecache" in the application log.

In addition, if one looks at production orders in say, /sapapo/rrp4, Receipt/Requirement element is show as "<unknown>" in many cases, and if you drill into such an order, in the order display it says "Request was deleted".

Any ideas how to proceed?

Hi Abhi,

Well I tried deleteing e.g. all production orders for one plant in APO using /sapapo/rlcdelete, then running /sapao/ccr and this time I did not get the "key already known in livecache" error.

Hi Chris,

Did you try running report /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS ?

We faced similra issue after deleting such ordrs with above report this inconsistecy disappeared.

Let me know if issue resolved after LC restart.

Hi Abhi,

Unfortunately rlcdelete does not find the order numbers in question, neither does OM19. The other report that you mention requires the order guid, which I don't know. The Basis person just found that livecache memory is 100% used, so we are restarting livecache - I will let you know.....

Ok..I don;t know if it would help, but try the report "/SAPAPO/DELETE_PP_ORDER".

Its a rather funny issue. Order Key already exists basically points to the fact that the order GUI is still in APO, but there is an inconsistency as you are getting the <unknown> order element. this may be due to a copyback to the system.

Try deleting all these orders in APO for one plant using rlcdel and then running a CCR(reconciliation).

It may just help.

Thanks for the quick response. I also thought of restarting livecache, as there are so many inconsistencies, then running the reconciliation - what do you think?

You can give it a shot but it won't remove these orders for sure. You will have to delete them manually and reconcile with ECC.

In addition to this please check the live cache status using /sapapo/om13 and LC10. Make sure live cache is all fine.

but these are just my thoughts, you can wait for the gurus to reply

It may happen that rlcdel is not able to delete these. in that case try the report /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS .
