Low value asset maximum amount exceeded -Error AA614

Hi,

Asset class Low value asset (LVA) has max amount limit 500 EUR

Asset is created with asset class LVA and asset value is 200 EUR with quantity 1

When i post MIRO, it gives error message as below:

Low value asset max.amount exceeded. No posting allowed

Message no. AA614

Asset affected:

Diagnosis

Your posting exceeds the maximum amount for low-value assets in at least one depreciation area.

System Response

Posting is canceled.

Procedure

Correct the amount of the posting, or change the maximum value for low value assets. Make this change in the company code specifications for depreciation areas.

I have checked, OAYK (LVA max amount 500 EUR) and OAY2 (1 - value based max amount check), settings are correct.

Here is the update for your error AA614 please goto screen OAYK and please check the value in the field 32-BOOK DEPRECIATION IN GROUP CURRENCY and change the amount hope the error will rectify because just now i tried the same its working.

You have exceeded the invoice amount for LVA clas asset. Please check the LVA asset class limit in OAYK and then proceed. Please check in your PO quantity is multiplied by your value in result.

Hi Pankaj,

Invoice amount is lower than the LVA limit. I have mentioned it ikn my problem,.

Also checked OAYK and it it ok.

But still i have error

Have you checked about quantity muliplied by each unit value ? Is total value less than LVA amount ? Does that PO contains multiple assets from different asset class ? Because I have same problem that system gave error for LVA + differenent asset class in same PO.

So please check in your case also. I hope this helps you to understand the case.

Unit value and total value both are below LVA limit.

Yes, my PO contains multiple asstes but frmo same asset class. But earlier i have made postings with different asset class also and it worked fine.

Not able to understand the problem.

Dude have you maintained the quantity in that assets master ? Please check that too.

Please check transactions:

-> OAYK: the ammount

-> OAY2: which check?

0 No maximum amount check

1 Value based maximum amount check

2 Check maximum amount with quantity

-> AS03 which quantity

Corresponding tables fields:

ANLB-XGWGK

ANKB-XGWGK

T093B-GWGWRT

If a asset is already createt the settings on the asset can't be changed ( ANKB-XGWGK )
