Crystal Reports - Firewall exclusions

Dear Sirs,

I'm using an accounting software that uses Crystal report 2008 runtime SP6.

I recently installed Avast antivirus pro that comes with its own firewall.

Since then I cannot produce the invoices without shutting down the firewall. I tried to log all the firewall incidents but no event is detected. Nonetheless everytime I turn the firewall off I can produce the invoices.

The company providing the accounting software says they use a package with crystal reports so they have no idea of ports, etc that might be conflicting with the firewall.

Can you help me out?

Try to add Crystal Reports (crw32.exe) to the exception list of Avast:
