Hi,

I already give password same as of my export system. But still no use..

Hi,

Are you able to login in client 000 or 001 using SAP* user with master password ?

if you can login to client 001 using sap* and master password, you can change the password of DDIC user same as export system.

Hi dear,

Here the main issue is I am not be able to access SAPGUI.so I can't login to system .

Regards,

Amit

Former Member

Hi,

At this step, sap should be up and running...

You can check the below things:

1. Check LISTENER is running (#lsnrctl status)

2. Check if Database is open or not (from ora<sid> user)

#sqlplus / as sysdba

SQL>select instance_name,status from v$instance;

3. Check "R3trans -d" (from <sid>adm user)

4. Start sap (from user <sid>adm)

I am doubtful, either oracle/sap or even both are not up and running...

B'coz of that you are not being able to see the login screen thru SAPGUI.

So please manually start the sap and then retry...

Regards.

HI Amit,

Your log clearly showing that your SAP is down or you ar enot able to access.

Steps to troubleshoot:

1) Check using dpmon pf=<profile> and check if work process are in waiting state.

2) If above step is successful issue is with firewall ask your networking team to allow telnet between sap ports(32*, 33,36,39* etc)

Revert back after checking above points , once you are able to login to system you can change DDIC password.

Hi Amit,

I hope you tried telnet from your desktop only.

Also please share dev_disp log for same.

If its a windows server try to install SAPGUI on same server and then access it.

Issue seems to be with accessing more than SAP as all work process are available for use.

Hi Ahmad/Amit,

Here are the last few steps

1) Shutdown sap system and Database.

2) Update the kernel of system to same as it was in source.

3) Start DB and SAP

4) Check for R3trans -d

5) Resume the installation .

Perform these steps and update once done!.

Hi,

Swap space is configured quite small with 16383 MB. It should be configured with at least 20 GB on 64 bit systems.
See note 153641 for more information. Warning: tmpfs at /dev/shm is configured quite small with 1972 MB!
Minimum value is 8192 MB. Recommended size is 75 % of RAM + swap.

Please go through the below SAP Note:

[Note 153641 - Swap space requirement for R/3 64-bit kernel|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/153641]

Above log entries says

1. you have configured less swap space

2. tmpfs space is small.

Below link will help you to overcome this problems

For #1.

[How to Increase your available swap space with a swap file|http://www.linux.com/archive/feature/113956]

For #2.

[How to increase tmpfs in linux|http://linux-delhi.com/tmpfs/ramdisk]

That could be a reason, dispatcher is not up.

Again please check if you have tuned OS kernel Parameters for Oracle...

and use the upated kernel (at least same as source system)

Regards.
