Replication problem from Ecc to SRM

HI Experts,

We had done a Refrsh of ECC and SRM system from Production to quality and now my middleware settings seems to be got messed up. When i run object DNL_CUST_BASIS3 then it shows yellow status all the time Running and when i goto SMQ1 in ECC side it says LOGSYS failed read note 588701. Now i am not getting where i went wrong, Every settings needs to be fine but still this error kills me atlast i am posting all of you...your helps is appriciated

It appears the GUID for logical systems are out of sync now after refresh. Follow the steps in the following thread.

Hi Smriti,

Please check for the clear error message in SMQ1 / SMQ2.

However as it looks there surely seems to be an issue with GUID.

Check whether the correct Logical system (backend ECC system) details are showing in table CRMMLSGUID.

In case the wrong Logical system is showing up then you / BASIS team need to run the BDLS transaction with option 'Conversion of Client Dependent and Independent tables'.

And then check the table CRMMLSGUID again which should show the correct Logical system details.

Please follow the same and let us know the outcome to help you further in resolving the issue.

HI,

I can see the entries in CRMMLSGUID contains PRDy100PC entry nad how i can change it to QASY100PC.

I use BDLS but still not suceed. Can you tell me how i am still facing problem to do all this ? either i can maintain manual entry in CRMMLGUID, if this is the case then how i get my QAS logical system name.

Delete the CRMMLSGUID entry and rereplicate. This entry will be reinserted with correct logical system.

Re-Replicate means i need to run BDLS again ?

Can you tell me the parameters i need to run BDLS in SRM and in ECC system

I dont know why this error is not going......

No. Re-replicate means, run one of the backend replication steps like DNL_CUST_PROD1 or DNL_CUST_BASIS3 etc.

I did that but unfortunately it goes to running and when i see SMQ1 in ECC says logical system error....which i mentioned above.....i run BDLS in ecc-qas and srm-qas..let me know am missing something ?

Hi Smriti,

After executing the BDLS transaction enter both the old Logical system name and the New Logical system name.

In your case, the old name would be PRDy100PC and the new name would be QASY100PC.

Then choose the option conversion of client dependent tables and uncheck the test run check box and then execute the transaction.

It would take some time for the transaction to get executed.

Then check CRMMLSGUID table again and you shuold find the new logical system name as QASY100PC.

Thanks to all the experts for the help.

I run BDLS again and in Define system landscape change the entries.

now i am able to replciate basis3 and other objects in R3AS.
