SAP Netweaver BI Connection

Hi,

Iu2019m using Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1, and Xcelcius 2008, and Netweaver 7.0

When I start Xcelcius I canu2019t find by data connections, the SAP Netweaver BI Connection option.

For BO I installed sp02 u2013 sp 2.5, also for the SAP Integration KIT. For Xcelcius iu2019m using 2008 version 5.0.0.99

Is there a solution or must I still use Query as a WebService?

Hi,

The prerequisites for SAP NetWeaver BI connection are,

- SAP BW 7.01 SP5

- Xcelsius 2008 SP2

- BEx GUI 7.10

Hi Erdem,

Thank for your answer, I do use the prerequisites. THe problem is that when you have installed the BO enterprise edition Xcelcius SAP Netweaver BI Connection will be hosted inside BO and will not work (based on SP2).

It should not be that I have to deinstall the enterprise edition of BO

You don't even need to install any BO server related applications for SAP NetWeaver BI connection. As long as you have the prerequisites, connection will be available. The version I'm using, "Xcelsius Enterprise - 5.3.1.0".

PS: This connection type also does not work with trial keys.

HI Erdam.

Now i can see the option. I installed Sp03 for Xcelcius.

But there is still a problem the browse button for the connection does not work!! any other good idea's??

Hi,

It's all oke but when i push the browse button there's still no logon screen for the BEX Query designer
