Is it possible to search for a vendor by its VAT reg. no.?

What transaction do i need to do this?

Use transaction code S_ALR_87012086,Use Hot key T in search help.

I can see that there is a search there, but i don't seem to be able to see anything. I tried for those vendors that i already have in the system with a VAT no.

Do i have to do something special in there?

Use transaction FK03 and press F4 on the Vendor field...

There are various Matchcodes where select matchcode Vendors by Tax Information

Enter vat reg. no in hot key T,Tick mark Additonal VAT Reg. numbers in Futher selections,Enter Company Code,Execute.

Jeyakanthan A , i have tried several times now with different selections and with VAT no. that i already see in the system, but still the list gives me nothing. Any idea why that can be?

Actually where you are maintaining VAT Reg. no. In control data of Vendor master or in CIN Details,

If you maintain in CIN Details means then go to se16,enter table name J_1IMOVEND,enter LST/VAT No.,get vendor list.
