connect between to SAP systems module BI

I have 2 different SAP ECC systems. each system has its own PI tool.

is there a way to connect between the BI modules (one in each system) with the PI?

can I talk between the PIs?

with what adapter should I talk between the 2 PIs?

is there a better solution for this?
