Stock counting error - (173-234) Stock counting - series mismatch

Hello. I have 1 problem. In the year 2018 we have made some stock counting documents. In 2019 we have made new numbering for stock counting documents, and for counting inventory too. We would like to made update for 1 row in document from 2018 year. But by adding we received an error:

Internal error; series mismatch. Please contact your support center. [Stock Counting - Series] [Message 173-234]

Stock inventory series mismatch.

Hello Aziz. Thanks for the answer, but it doesn´t solve me the problem. In the answer are information about setup of numbering, but we have done it before.

My colleague find some solution, that older inventory counting documents have to be closed, and then by adding the last one, you don´t receive the error - it means, you can have only 1 opened counting document for repairs. But I think it´s wrong way. Why I have to do it so?
