One-Time Business Partner with Contract Account?

Is it posible to create a one-time Business Partner with an associated Contract Account?

We need to be able to create Sale Order for a customer, which will post to FI-CA, then we could use the FI-CA Cash Desk to apply payments of the BP/Contract Account.

It should be similar to one-time SD Customer on FI-AR, but we want to use FI-CA AR, instead.

Create the Account group OVT0 exclsuive for one-time customer put the check mark one-time customre.(extrenal number range)

select the control fields u required..

create a one-time customer in XD01

I created the one time Customer via XD01. However, I cannot create a Contract Account with the customer (BP) via CAA1 (Business Partner not found).

Can you help futher?

Hi Allan

Have you made partner usage optional in sales data in edit filed status in OBD2 or OVT0.

If it is suppressed u wont get it.

Hi Mandar,

Partner usage is set to optional entry in sales data. However, I was requrired to enter partner numbers or I couldn't save. I used an existing partner. (I neglected to mention, in my last post, I had to used another partner# on the Partner Functions tab).

I have also tried setting the "Contract Account is a One-Time Account" flag in the "Configure Contract Acct Categories and Assign Number Ranges", but this doesn't seem to do anything.
