i know we can send the script output by converting OTF to PDF then send mail,however

is it possible to send the script output to send the mail as EXCEL Attachment.

What you're asking is not clear...if you restate what you're trying to do, forum users may be able to help...

Are you trying to convert the SAPScript output to Excel and email that?

Hi,

I think its not a good idea to send the script output in excel format. Even if you send some how, it won't be in proper readable format. If you can explain your original problem then we may be able to help you.

Hi,

I got requirement which is a Z T.code,the user is asking me to give the O/P in EXCEL Attachment.When i have excuted the report i got the print preview output(script output). I know we can convert the Script O/P into OTF then PDF and we can send mail.

But here my doubt is, is it possible send the script output to send the mail as EXCEL Attachment.

Hi,

As i told earlier, formatting might be an issue. What you can do is, collect what ever data printed in script in to one internal table and use nornal mail sending code for sending mail in excel format with the collected data.
