Input parameter with Derived From Procedure for MTD, QTD, YTD calculations thru BEx Variable?

Dear, All,

In Bw on HANA system with a Calculation View:

We have created a Calculation view with lots of Timeframe calculations like CYMTD, CYQTD, CYYTD, PYYTD, PYQTD, PYYTD etc...And this Calc View has been consumed into Composite provider & created a Bex Query on top of it. In order to capture user Input Parameter value, BW info object has been associated with an Input parameter also BEx Variable has been assigned.

However, In Calculation view, the Derived from a procedure was not receiving any value thru BEx variable?

It works for the Direct Input parameter restriction, but not getting passed to the procedure.

Hi,

Did you try to look at the bex query in rsrt - to see HAHA SQL statement?

Does the query send any value in parameter object?

I see that it is passing to parameter object for testing, I created a restricted column measure and applied the same Input parameter in Calc view and it works very well. However, not passing to derived procedures??

By the way, If I consume the same calc view directly thru Bex Query with no Composite provider ALL FILTERS WORK VERY WELL with no special care. But We need this thru Composite provider so that we can utilize BW Hierarchies.

Here is the screenshot that I see in RSRT. Any more suggestions would be really helpful, please.
