Dear,

It is not possible in standard SAP.

Tracing the Deleted planned orders in standard SAP is also not possible as it is not a confirmed receipt.

I have created a planning and in table PLAF my plan number is there

but in table AFPO my plan number and desired document is missing .

why is that so ?

Dear,

PLAF for the planned order. Once the planed order converted into production order you cannot get any details in the table PLAF.

Once you convert the plant order in to production or process order then you will get the details in AFPO .

But the number of order will be different as planned order number range is different than production order.

you can check the number range setting in CO82 and MD91.

how do we convert the plant order in production or process order?

Dear,

Go to MD04 enter your material number and plant and press enter, you will get planned order no double click on it system will show you the tab to convert the plant order in production or process order.

Or CO40, Co41 are the T. Code to convert it. Please take help from your PP consultant to know the logic behind it.

Hope it will help you.

Sir

What if the plan number is not in PLAF table but it is in AFPO table

is it possible ? if so how can it be ?

Dear,

You have converted a planned order to a production (or process) order. In the assignment tab, the planned order number is displayed.

Yes if planned order is converted to production order or process order then it will be there and get deleted from PLAF.

Just go to CO03 enter your order number then click on second tap "Assignment" here you will get the Planned order number.

AFPOD-PLNUM.

If you make a double click on that planned order number in the assignment tab of the production order, it is showing the recently opened planned order.

Saad,

the problem I'm facing is that

my plan number is not even PLAF table

If a planned order number does not exist in PLAF, it does not exist. This happens all the time, planned orders are regularly deleted from PLAF by the system. Why do you think the planned order should exist in PLAF?

and also not in AFPO table I dont know why ?

If a planned order number does not exist in AFPO, it means nothing. Many POs have no planned orders associated with them.

I therefore don't yet understand your 'problem'. In standard SAP, if a planned order is deleted, it is irrecoverable. What results would you like to see?

Saad,

If there is no entry in PLAF, then your application has not created a planned order, or it has been deleted.

You mention 'Plan number'. Exactly what does that mean? Perhaps you are talking about a forecast? What transaction are you using to review the results of your 'application'?

Can you give a brief description of the process flow of your application, and how you expect it to interact with SAP?

i have made my own application which is used for planning and creating plan order through BDC and save a copy of planned

order in my customized table.

in my table i have a planned order number 0000119105 but when i go to transaction MD13 to display the planned order it say's

that the number does not exist.

can we atleast find out the log of deletion of plan orders.

Saad,

No, there is no log.

I do not know the purpose of the custom table. However, if your business process depends on the planned order always to exist, then you need to rethink your program logic. Planned orders are VERY temporary, by design.

If you are still in the design phase, you can re write your code to accommodate all the possible things that might go wrong. If you have a one-time error event that you are trying to solve, and you KNOW that there should be a Production order to confirm, you can use the material number, date, and quantity to try to find a matching unconfirmed PO to confirm.

I suspect that the planned order was never converted to a production order. In this case, there would be nothing to confirm in SAP.

You might want to think about loading your planned orders as 'firm'. At least then MRP will not delete them.
