Customer exit code for to convert Fiscal Period to Current Fiscal Year.

Dear SDN,

I need to generate the report Fiscal year wise GR Value.

Example:

Selection Parameters:

Material number:

Fiscal Year(Apr to March):

Output ... like this.

Fiscal Year GR Value in cr

2006 100

2007 200

2008 300

2009 400

In the cube time chars are Calender Year,Calender Year/Month,Calender Year/Quarter,Fiscal Year/Period but Fiscal Year is not

availabe......

I need customer exit code for to covert fiscal period to Current Fiscal Year.

Hi,

This is not possible unless you use virtual characteristics.

It is not impossible.

You wrote you have NO fiscal year in your cube, BUT you do want to show this (non existing) characteristic !!!

You should do one of 2:

1. use virtaul chars

2. add fiscal year to the cube and populate it at cube load process.

My requirement is simple.

Rows:

Fiscal Year

Columns

GR Value

Filters

Material Number

Input Paramters:

Material No.

Fiscal Year

Using customer exit if we populate current fiscal year in the selection screen output be like this....

FISCAL YEAR GR Value(in crores)

2009 4000

2008 3000

2007 2000

2006 1000

The cube name Custom Cube ZBBP_C03.

But I dont have time char 0FISCYEAR in my Cube.In my cube avaiable chars are Calender Year,Calender Year/Month,Calender Year/Quarter,Fiscal Period

Hi.

Again, you HAVE NO such characteristic 0FISCYEAR in your cube, so how you want to show it in report ?

You should extend your cube with such characteristic.

Then you should be able to show it in report.

Or versa use virtual characteristic ...

Hi,

If you have fiscal period then we can convert it to year and Month using some Function Modules.

Using Customer Exit Code we can do it, if you have correct required Inputs.

Please let me know the scenario with example. i..e What is there in Cube/Report and What you want?
