What is the significance of CONFIDENTIALcheck box in CONTRACT or GOA

in SRM header -> basic data ->CONFIDENTIAL

who knows the secret of CONFIDENTIAL check box in SRM ?

How indeed help the business in the real time.

when buyers check this flag?

It appears this checkbox (SENSITIVE is the field name on Header) is used for checking user authorizatoin to the contract.

How indeed we can utilise for businesss,

even my buyer checked as confidential , i am seeing her GOA.

i really wanted to know SAP definition for this field for my business docuementation too.

1357015 AND 1244845 NOTE

1357015- are SAP says if SG created GOA, Muthu or any one can not change the GOA ? i am in SRM 550 Sp15.- Can you elaborate.

STEP1:- I CHECKED confidential .

documents- no access

conditions- no access

anuthorisation - no access.

Hi Muthu,

I noticed the same thing too. I put authorization trace and I do not see the authorization for BBP_CTR_2 with sensitive flag being called.

Then again, I do not see the Sensitive check box on 'Create GOA' screen. Did you have to do any setup to turn it on?

The last authorization check was successful

let me check with SAP too the same.

Muthu,

Try this.. Go to ST01 transaction, select authorization trace and click on activate trace. Then try displaying a GOA with Confidential flag. Go back to ST01, turn trace off. Click on analysis and see what you see.
