Compatiblity between CR v12 and v10

Hi there,

We developed a report using Crystal Reports 2008 (version 12) however the actual engine that runs the reports is version 10. We seem to have an issue where the report runs but does not honor the passed in parameters that we use to narrow the scope of the report.

Is there a known backward compatibility issue or is the solution to simply develop it in version 10 so that it runs in version 10?

Crystal Reports designed in version 12 (2008) are not backward compatible with version 10 systems, be it Crystal Enterprise or some other type of version 10 SDK application.

The solution as you have proffered is to simply develop it in version 10 so that it runs in version 10.
