SAP SNC and Apache Server communication

Hi there,

We are implementing SAP SNC solution to allow external customers to enter forecast numbers which will be used to convert to TLB orders and then this will be interfaced to SAP R/3 to generate sales orders.

We intend to make the SNC URL (webpage) available to external customers via Apache server running in the DMZ to make this thing secure from external security breaks.

So SAP SNC will be inside the network, Apache server will be in the DMZ talking to SNC on the back end, customer will be interfacing via Internet browser by launching the SNC web page.

What is required to be installed on the Apache server (any SAP component) in order to communicate with back end SAP SNC application running on another server. I am not sure how to make this work and what components are required to be installed and configured on the Apache server.

Can someone please provide an architecture diagram or point me to one that clearly shows the components required to be installed and running on the Apache server to enable communicating between SAP SNC in the backend and customer outside of the DMZ?

Please help
