Time & Attendance, Integration with Time Clocks & How to block early punch

Hi,

My company has configured positive time after having a stable negative time solution in place for 3 years. One of the issues we are facing is control over when employees can clock in to start the shift. Our clocks will pass all informaiton to SAP time events and it is then processing these start times. For example we have a shift that starts at 07:00 and would not like to have employees clock in before 06:50. Currently if an employee clocks in at 06:05 it will register as 06:05. Without using rounding rules has anyone else out there faced this issue and how have you tackled it. Is it chaning the system or more of the culture of management to monitor this? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rich
