BPC NW 7.0: How to lock/freeze a budget?

Hi,

is there a way to secure budget data in a Planning (financial) application without using the complex design of work statuses?

The goal is to protect data from being changed in a certain application and dimension thru scripts, input schedules, loads from BW, etc.

Hi Claudia,

If you want to lock a particular region, then I am afraid that there is no other go other than work status. Work status is, however, not difficult to be handled. The configuration is pretty simple.

Hi Claudia,

you can just put out authorization for the group user or maybe u just have to create other group so u can change to that group, just give them read. is a simple way to protect your data.
