Security Optimization Self Service - Questionarie

Dear All,

I am trying to follow a demo to implement this service on a SolMan System.

The component version I am using is SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0

I am able to create the self delivered service on the SolMan... and I confirm the date for the service...according to the demo , I am following , under the "Service" level should appear another level called "sessions" which does not appear..

and then I did not get any display for the buttons

"Save"

"Cancel"

"Open Session Workbench"

"Reset Session Workbench"

"Display HTML Report"

"Create Questionarire"

I am a little bit lost ... I am not sure if I have to do an additional step to get that "Session" level display ...or probably it is an authorizations issue? in this case I did not get any error message indicating this situation.

I will appreciate any idea in order to solve this issue.

    yes I'm getting in the Status = E0001 [*]

    I followed your advice and activated the SOLMA40_ISTR_ADDFUNC_007

    when a check all difference now with the table ..it looks like that (actually there are not more differences ...and activation log is green)

    BC Set 100 SLFT0001 E0001 EN OPEN Open

    Table 100 SLFT0001 E0001 EN OPEN Open

    BC Set 100 SLFT0001 E0001 DE OFFN Open

    Table 100 SLFT0001 E0001 DE OFFN Open

    BC Set 100 SLFT0001 E0001 FR OFFN En cours

    Table 100 SLFT0001 E0001 FR OFFN En cours

    but logging again into the system the Status = E0001 [*] still there.

    is this issue related to the fact that I do not get the "session" level displayed?

    • Dear Fedex,

      I would suggest activating all the BC sets starting with the first one and goign through each in sequence and not just

      SOLMA40_ISTR_ADDFUNC_007. The error E0001[*} only occurs when ALL the required BC sets have not activated.

      And all the BC sets listed in that note are required. Please activate them all, from the first to the last.

      That will eliminate the error E0001[*]

    Dear Fedex,

    Are you getting the status E0001 on the screen?

    There are require BC sets that need to be activated.

    Have you activated all the BC Set that are described in SAP Note 1097782.

    This must be done first.
