Real Time Consolidation: RTCFU template content

Hi All,

How to add GROUP(RCONGR) and Audittrail(AUDIT_TRA) fields in RTCFU flat file template for flexi upoad???

I have added group and Audittrail fields in upload template manually (downloaded from RTCFU tcode).

Added financial data in the template for all mandatory and required fields including group, audittrial.

RTCFU load ended up with error (File Template is Incorrect).

Scenario:

We are not doing currency translation, instead running integration rule to bring ACDOCA data to ACDOCC.

As ACDOCA does not have proper data in development system for testing IC Eliminations (Intercompany data) we are trying to load group currency data at intended Group and Audittrail members.

I have loaded data several times using RTCFU without having Group and audittrail fields and successfully loaded all the times. This is a new system for development and as per IC testing I need to load data at group and Audittrail.

Is any config required to appear Group and Audittrail fields available automatically in RTCFU upload template?

Hi Lappin,

We are on RTC 1709 and has consolidation type application.

We are using Integration rule(Not doing currency translation in RTC) to bring group currency data at group level.

Inter-company rules can be run effectively if we have data for Company and Intercompany(Trading partner) both sides, however ACDOCA data which reflected in ACDOCC due to Integration rule does not have proper data to support inter-company eliminations, hence though of loading data at group level through RTCFU.

RTCFU template does not have Group and Audittrail fields to paste the data as required for IC eliminations.

BPC IC requires data in below fashion for IC Eliminations to run:

GROUP ENTITY TRADINGPARTNER AUDITTRAIL TIME ACCOUNT DATA

Group1 ENT1 ENT2 INPUT 2019.001 Receivable 1000

Group1 ENT2 ENT1 INPUT 2019.001 Payables -1000

When we run integration rule we did not get both the sets of data, hence though of loading data at desired Group and AUDITTRAIL members.

Default RTCFU upload template didn't carry both the fields (It has Entity, Trading Partner, Account, Currencies etc.). I have added GROUP and AUDITTRAIL in the upload template manually and tried upload data and received "Improper template" error.

Please guide me how to enhance Upload template to include Group, and Audittrial fields automatically so that when ever I download upload template from RTCFU template it will have those two fields for data upload.

Hello,

I cannot tell the details of your BPC consolidation model from information provided. However, I can confirm that if you are planning to use BPC elimination business rule, you must still provide information for Group and Audit-trail dimensions. If you would like further clarification or if I have misunderstood your use case, please let me know.
