Avoid Production order process

Hello,

My requirement is to avoid production order process for cleaning the material. Material number is different for dirty material and clean material, they do lose some weight while cleaning. Can you please suggest how to implement in sap.

1-If i understand you ,cleaning material are issued against cost center as it has financial impact

2-for damaged material after cleaning process (no production order required) you can scrap it by Mvt 551

3-you can skip 1 step if not fit your business case

Hi,

Workaround is that, you can use physical inventory process with different codes for "reason for movement".. actually we do same thing when we get coke with moisture (UOM as SWT ) ...before we feed it into production equipment.As the moisture is varying from vendor to vendor even though we have one material code for ROH of Green coke.

Do not want to create production order for cleaning process as there is no financial impact. Just want to do the inventory adjustment by weight as weight will be different for dirty material and clean material.

let me know if this clarifies the requirement.

May be we can do the Material to Material transfer (309) and dirt can be scrapped via 551 Movement Type.
