REST adapter installation in SAP PI 7.4

Hi,

We are in process of deploying the REST adapter in our SAP PI 7.4 SP17 system and are aware about the procedure. We request you to kindly help us with the files(.zip & .sca) required to be downloaded from the marketplace in order to install the REST adapter.

Happy New Year!

Unfortunately, I don't think we can download any files from SAP Market Place for anyone then upload them here which is not allowed.

You have to check if your S-user has license to download required file from SAP Market Place.

If you have no idea about where and which file should be downloaded, please read following KBAs:

2276231 - New features of REST adapter are not visible after upgrade

2333578 - REST adapter is not available when creating a new channel

Hi Faison,

Thanks for the information. We implemented note "2276231 - New features of REST adapter are not visible after upgrade" but still face same issue in our quality environment. when i check the adapter metadata under SAP BASIS 7.40, we do not find REST adapter in the list but in the development system we are able to find it which is confusing.

Hello Somesh,

Yes, it's strange.

You could open SAP BASIS 7.40 in ESR, click Details tab and check if "Available Support Packages" is the same in your Dev and Test system.
