Hi Mohsen,

In intercompany solution, you can set the Batch size of journal entries that need to be imported in the consolidation company.

By default, the Batch size is set to 500, but if you have a large number of journal entries then you can set the batch size depends on the Journal entry count.

Refer the below screenshot:

I would also recommend you to export/import the Journal entries months wise or quarterly wise depending on the Journal entry count size. Otherwise, all yearly Journal entries in one go after defining the Batch size in the intercompany administration console.

Thanks,

Pankaj Sharma

Hello Mohsen...

The one restriction I know of is that one should limit DTW to 10,000 lines at one time for two reasons:

  1. More than 10,000 tends to slow the system down and,
  2. Depending upon how you handle errors, IF you have an error in line 35,000, it could be a big waste of time. 10K does not seem to be that big of a loss of time.

Here is a personal one and has nothing to do with the 10,000 lines. I tend to review the next DTW spreadsheet while the one with 10,000 is running - you know, checking for things like the format of the numeric fields, making sure dates are YYYYMMDD, etc.

PS - good luck with this - I know from experience how tedious this task can be!!!

Best Regards,

Zal
