Item xxx WBS element yyyyyyy budget exceeded

Hi,

We are doing settlement of project costs to AUC when we encountered Message No. BP603 for some of the items. How could we correct this error? We did not encounter this error for our past settlements. We also did not make any change in the configuration settings.

Please check what is your budget value in CJ31 if the Budget in CJ31 is already consumed then you may need to check why the budget is consumed or checked during your postings.

Note "159850 Settlement within a project" has explained the behavior, you may check it in detail.

We have checked the budget but it still have sufficient balance to cover the settlement costs.

try running CJEN and CJBN...then run settlement and see..
