BW Best Practises for NON-SAP data

Hi

I tried to find documents on this topic here and elsewhere without success. I'm interested in architecture principles like replication layers per source system and the proper usage on info objects.

Hi,

SAP BI will connect to any other NO-SAP system using DB Connect & UD Connect, so using this we can extrat the Data to BW and do the rpeorting.

Else

We have SAP-BO's, so without extacring the data from NON-SAP we can do reporting using BO's.

Last time I talked to the pre sales consultants (3 weeks ago) - the preference was Data Federator in preference to UD or DB connect
