Diffrence in GR55 and KSB1

Hi All ,

When i run GR55 Profit center wise and double click the value its give me the line item details but in line item details system is not refelcting amount of particular document but if check in KSB1 then system reflect the same

can any help how to resolve this issue

I check details view than i found that value type is 11 -Statistical Actual

and for another line which are coming in report value type is 4 - Actual

does this make any differencE

HI,

yes it makes a difference...

Real actual postings => value type 4, statistical postings (the real posting is assigned to another CO-object) => value type 11.

So if you have real + statistiscal postings to the same CO-object always take care which value type you are reporting.

Let me explain you with help of example

Below is actual document post

As you can see for line item 3 value type is 4 .

Now if I run GR55 report for profit center T61 then system will not reflect 63.37 USD and if I check rest of proft center V01 , V24 system display the value 31.69, 10.56 .

But if I check in t code u2013 KSB1 system display 63.37 usd u2026

Now my question .

1. How to resolve this issue

2. If KSB1 is actual cost line item for coste center then why system display 63.37 amount

Hi,

1: every statistical posting has a REAL CO-object and for this the profit-center assigned in master data will show the 63,37 USD if you run your report.

2: KSB1 shows actual postings cost center related, no matter if "real" or "statistical". Create a layout that filters only value type "4" for real actual postings.

Can you please elaborate more your 1 st point and also i want to 63.37 USD in profit center then which report i need too run.

And also the solution of this problem is reverse the original documnet and post with actual value ... Am i correct ?

HI,

1: imagine your posting of 63,67 USD is real posted to internal order A, profit center B and statistical posted to the cost center/profit-center mentioned above, if you run a profit-center line item report (maybe the one you've created) for profit-center B you will find the value.

2: If profit-center values should match KSB1 real actual figures, the real acount assignment in your posting must be the cost center. So reversal is one thing, but the new posting needs to be done real for cost center.
