Copy Control - Quotation to Quotation and division

Dear Guru's,

Is it possible to configure copy control for sales documents that way that it would be possible to copy Quotation to another Quotation but with another customer belonging to another Division.

When I try to push such operation today I'm getting following error message:

"Divisions deviate from each other. 20 and/or 10 (reference)"

In the copy controls form Quotation - Quotation, I think at the Header the copying requirement is 2. It checks for the Sales Org / Dist Channel / Division from preceeding doc to succeeding document. If it differns then issues an error message.

You can opt for 2 things . Either change the error into warning message or remove the code to check the divisions. How ever its recommended to copy the standard routine 2 to a custom number and make the changes.

Hi Milosz,

Please go to T-code VOV8 --> Select your order type --> click at details --> In the column "General Data" --> check box "Item Division.

Well,

Unfortunately this change nothing -

most probably because I'm not using Division from MM Items definition.

Problem is that MM division must stay empty as all customers are extended to different divisions (most probably due to statistics reason).
