Doubt Regarding Installing SAP Productivity Pack

Former Member

Hi All,

I need to install SAP Productivity pack in my landscape which is a single box. I have downloaded uPerform_4.10 productivity kit.

I went through the Administration document provided with it for the installation. From that, I understood I need a seperate Database server, Search server and Application Server.

My question is whether I can install all these in my single box or I should have all these servers separately?

If I can install in single box, Can u ppl help me to get some document for it?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Vadivelan.N

Hi Vadivelan/Prasnnaa,

I would like to know about procuring license for this software, does it require separate license or does it come in any package???

Please can you help me with this information.

It needs separate licensing.

You can reach out to your SAP contact or get it touch with Ancile product support(who bought the software from RWD).

uPerform is server based and they also have uPerform express(you can give it to few users and no server install required), which is cheaper than the server version.

It all depends on what you pay and need.

Hello Vadivelan,

We're in exactly the same case, did you figure out if a single box installation was possible ?

Thanks in advance

Hi All

After great exertion for a long time and clearing some erroneous specifications in the document with the

help of RWD support team, we managed to install RWD Productivity Pak successfully in Test Machine.

Hi oXya,

Yes. Just today i finished the installation successfully. It was a single box installation. I asked the RWD support people, they confirmed it is not a problem to install all these 3 servers in a single machine. So I installed everything in a single machine.

I am done with the server installations. Now have to start with content management

Thanks and Regards,
