field Status Group Probelm

Dear Sapgurus,

in development client XXXX 4 company codes name 0001,0002,0003,004 all company codes are using same field status variant like 1000 under this one field status group k001,k002,k003,k004,k005,k006. Now i am adding one company code in developemnt client XXXX but i am copy field status variant from 1000 and change rename is 1005 under this one same field status group k001,k002.... in this one i am going change some fields Cost center is required whthet it will affetct other company code like 0001,0002,0003...........

HI,

If Field status variant 1005 is assigned to new company code and it is unique then do not worry it will not impact other company code at all since they have a different variant. Go ahead..

The impact will be only for the company codes, for which You assign the new field status variant 1005.
