Partitioning of Infocubes

Hi guys

I have some questions about maintaining BI...I couldnot find answers for these....

1.How do we analyse if we have to do partitioning or not?(I came to know that SAP has some recommendations for this)

2.Whats the problem we face with aggregates on navigational attributes?

Hi,

You can run an analysis in ST03N, where you look at the ratio between data the queries run through and the data shown. If you have high DB time, you can also look at aggregates. But try partitions first.

Also, check that data statistics are up to date.

If OLAP time is high, you can check the queries in RSRT.
