Different versions of BPC and differences in functionality & SAP Support roadmap

Dear all,

Please lead me to any document that provides the information on the different flavours of BPC currently in the market. Incl. the one on HEC, etc.

Please share some opinion on why will a new BPC user prefer to take Standard BPC version?

How long will SAP support standard version?

Hello Deepika,

You must be aware Business Planning and Consolidation is available in two versions Netweaver aka (NW) and Microsoft aka (MS)

1. Latest sw version of BPC NW is 11.0 for BW4/HANA
2. BPC NW also has two categories - Classic and Embedded

why will a new BPC user prefer to take Standard BPC version? >>> My answer is it depends on various factors like ...

a) long term IT strategy / road map

b) system land scape

c) project scope

How long will SAP support standard version? >>> I haven't seen any road map from SAP with a time line for stopping the support for standard version.
