who can tell me
the shift plan where use? how to use? and its function?
what the relationship between "shift plan" and "Planned Working Time(0007)"?
I think the Planned Working Time have define the individual personnal plan work time? why I need to difine the Org unit shift plan?
if I used shift plan ,then Planned Working Time(0007) will not be effective?
Shift plan displays employees shift assignment,
where as Planned working time displays employees scheduled working time for a specific period

I thought the shift assigment is(equal) the scheduled working time , both them show the
every employee scheduled working time for a specific period.
for example:
one new employee enter company ,then I must maintain his IT0007, I give him the "AAAA" work
schedul rule.
define "AAAA" work schedul rule at IMG like this:
0001 eraly eraly eraly eraly eraly Off Off
0002 late late late late late off off
0003 night night night night night off off
so from this I can know the employee one period plan working time like this.

because I have knowed employee's plan work time , so I think this is his shift plan.
and another question, if set a shift plan give employee's Org unit or position? then will change It0007?

Shift plan means.. we have different types of shift planning...
1. Person shift planning.
2. Position shift planning.
3. work center **** planning.
Example
1. the employee is not working according to work schedule, suppose his shift is morning from 6 am to 2 pm. we made him work in the shift from that shift to after noon shift as some guys are absent in the after noon shift then that is called person shift planning. He has to work actually in the morning shift according to work schedule. but we shifted it for two or 3 days. In this case the employee gets more salary than he gets in morning shift.
2. Suppose if a position say Sr manager position is absent, we arranged a Manager position to handle the activities of Sr manager position in his absence. This is called position shift planning. In this case the employee gets the salary par with Sr manager for that substitution days say (3 days)
3. Suppose if a Work center say receptionist is absence, we filled the gap with another work center say some executive from other dept. This is called work center substitution. In this case if the receptionist salary more than the executive, then the employee gets more salary. If the receptionist salary less than the executive, then he gets his own salary.
I think you can understand with this clearly.

Hi,
Shift plan for org.units and positions is used for shift planning and cost planning. It is not used for payroll, it does not replace entry in IT 0007.
